Elwood and Joliet Jake

The Blues Brothers are my fav.band.(Weird Al is really not a band hes just funny thats why Blues Brothers are my Fav. Band) They started there band SNL. The horn section is a New York Style band.The head singer Joliet Jake(played by John Belushi) and lead singer/harmanica player Elwood(played by Dan Akroyd) leave a cool band. There first movie was a big secsuss. But John Belushi died leaving the band cripled. Intill Blues Brothers 2000 came out about 2 years ago.(not as good as the first one, but a really cool movie) did not make as a big sucsess as the first. I think it was not as big as the first because no one has heard of the Blues Brothers. But i must say go rent or something like that. It stars Dan Akroyd as Elwood and John Goodman as Mac.

Jake had a vision. It was his, the only real one he'd ever had, and he clung to it. There had been too many messy gas staion hold ups with only some green stamps and a case of Valvoline to show for the risk. Joliet Jake had always been full of schemes. But this was different; it played across his tiled cell wall 24 hours a day. And the ending was always the same- Jake and his younger brother Elwood crusin out of calumet city.III., with the sun in there shades and a full tank of gas.

It has always been the blues. Even back in RI ophanage, Jake and Elwood was saved by music. Actully saved by a grayed-hair Janitor named Curtis. He wore these midnight shades ,narrow black tie and a porkpie . He whould teach them the blues down in there basement. Thats where the Blues Brothers started
