ASM PROFILE: CASTOR TROY

NOTES FROM THE ISM ARCHIVIST:
The Anti-Sailor Moon activist known as Castor Troy is, to say the least, a bit of a mystery.
Named for the antagonist from the John Woo film Face/Off starring John Travolta and Nicholas Cage, here is what we know about Troy:
- He was acquaintances with ISM member and anti-fic writer Bane.
- He had two websites: the first located at http://members.aol.com/CasTr0y/, and the second located at http://members.aol.com/TroyCas/.
- He could not have existed as Caster Troy before 1997, as Face/Off was released in 1997.
- His website(s) featured an "ultimate" ISM parody (?), a fanfic library, and a page dealing with "psycho moonies."
- Due to a dead links message per Wayback Machine, he was not active in any substantial way after 1998.
Though we know of Troy's acquaintanceship with Bane from posts made on Bane's guestbook, it is unclear as to whether or not Troy considered himself to be affiliated with the ISM. The actual contents of Troy's site are likewise unclear. Why did an Anti-Sailor Moon website contain an ISM parody, and exactly what did that look like? Is it possible that Troy was a reformed Moonie who got sick of the insane antics of his compatriots and switched sides? Was he a double-agent? What works were contained within his fanfic library? Was he under a barrage of hatemail (as so many of us were) as chronicled on his "psychotic moonies" page?
We will never know answers to these questions, sadly. All that remains of Castor Troy and his contribution to the war are his posts made to Bane's guestbook (provided below), and the background image used on his second site (also below).
