Klan Apartheid Anti Sailor Moon. Boy oh boy, is that an incendiary misnomer for such a mild mannered site. Before anyone loses their heads, no, this site has nothing to do with either the Ku Klux Klan or Apartheid. It does, however, have a lot to do with Anti Sailor Moon.
And let me tell you, folks: Sites like this are why I do what I do. This is a weird one, a real rare gem, and I cannot be more proud to have it displayed in our museum--strange distaste for Czech people not withstanding.
Because you really don't find bizarre specimens like this; rather, they find you.
The provenance of this exhibit is somewhat accidental. Coming to us thanks to the Guardian, what we have of this site was actually found in 2005 via a Google search for "Anti Sailor Moon" that took Guardian to a German Moonie messageboard whose URL and name is now lost to time. This thread discussing ASM did not contain links, but rather text copies of website main pages. The usual suspects were present: Kamen Rider Dragon's site, ISM v3, the AOA, the ASMDA, Hell on TV, SMIRC...the list goes on and on. All were recognizeable, save one. That one was Klan Apartheid Anti Sailor Moon.
Copied to the messageboard in what was later determined by Dr. Google to be Portuguese (placing the country of origin as either Portugal or Brazil), there were no graphics; no url; no indication of the site's original layout; no time period for when the site was originally accessible; no clear picture of who created the site; and no hint of what else the site might have held at one time. All that was posted was the site's name and the raw text. Nothing more.
Thankfully, Guardian copied and saved the text, and that's why we have this oddity today.
The second link contains the same information, the same text, but after it was run through Google Translate and translated into English. As mentioned before, according to Google Translate, the author of the site slammed Czech people at least once--though this is likely inaccurate, as the translation is very rough.
The third and final link contains a copy of the translated text as edited and rewritten by Ethan Michael Crane, since that's a hobby of his apparently. It's likely as inaccurate as the Google English translation (since it's heavily based on that translation), but it makes the text more accessible to native English speakers.
